Obituary of Carol A. Allen

Carol A. Allen, age 71, of Mainsburg, PA, died on Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born March 10, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA. A graduate of Temple University, prior to her retirement, Carol worked as a teacher in Cape May, NJ and managed a hotel. She had a love for children and a great adoration for foster children. She also enjoyed being with her pets and animals. Carol is survived by husband John Allen; sons and daughters-in-law William and Deardra McGuire of Jackson, NJ, and Gregory and Dana Neill, of Lancaster, PA; daughters Sarah Allen, of Blossburg, PA, Kacee Allen, of Allentown, PA, and Jenne Allen of NY; and grandchildren Joana Neill and Matthew McGuire. A private service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.
