Obituary of Robert N. Bahner

Robert "Bob" N. Bahner, age 64, of Covington, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He was born September 1, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA, son of Robert F. Bahner and Anna Mae (Cairns) Bahner. Robert was the husband of Caryl "Kay" (Strong) Bahner. He worked at Philadelphia Electric as a Gas Laborer prior to retirement, and also enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing and hunting as well as spending time with his grandchildren. Robert previously served as President of the Sylvania Lions Club. Bob is survived by his wife Kay; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Robert Simmons; 2 grandchildren, Brooke Harvey and Brett Harvey; and a sister, Barbara Bahner of Souderton, PA. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from Noon to 1:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Peter DeVantier officiating.
